2008 Acadia, bought in July 2013, back for 12 yes 12, serious issues, as of February 2014. Salesman lied about options on delivery date, drove car home, transmission problems less than 5 miles from dealership. When I returned next morning with car, found out it was sold to me with open recalls, has been nothing but problems since. After 2 brand factory GMC transmissions in 8 months, car started to smoke yesterday, then stalled in after school traffic. Took back today was told " their swamped, come back tomorrow". If I'm lucky it won't catch fire by then? Have called GMC customer service 3 times, never received so much as one call back. Save yourselves the trouble do not buy this car. Clearly GMC does not care about customer loyalty ( 4th vehicle purchased there), nor do they care about safety, just drive your smoking car home with your kids in it is an unacceptable response????
