I have just had a transmission fail in my
2007 acadia @ 133000km. Would cost me $8000.00
to take take a part to find cause. I'm sure it is the wave plate which
has being an issue until 2009 when gm sourced new parts for 2009 productions.
Gm won't help with some assistance for this issue.
I am getting a new transmission as the cost is half than a repair
also come with a 3 year warranty . Just disappointed that they knew
There was a problem so early on with these new transmissions, but I guess
I'm not as fortunate as those who's went while still covered.
Lesson for me never to buy 1st year productions!
