I have a 2009 Acadia for which the courtesy / some lights do not work when the doors are opened. I'm aware of the override switch and dimmer that is part of the headlamp switch but that is not the issue.

I checked the CTSY fuse on the passenger side fuse box.

I'm not sure if this could be a faulty door sensor? Which I really don't even know how the door sensors operate on this vehicle. I don't see any buttons on the doors so I assume they are electronic and hidden behind the panel.

I've take out the headlamp / dimmer switch but does anyone know how to verify if this switch could be faulty? It looks like this has 32 pin connector.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts regarding if you've had to replace one of these switches.

Thx
Dave

DM2050, any luck with this? I've got the same issues. I installed a new backup camera on my wife's '07 Acadia, and when I was done, the dome lights no longer worked. I'm also aware of the dome light override being separate from the dimmer knob, and I've checked/replaced the CTSY fuse, but the only way I can turn my dome lights on is with the button at each light.
