Air conditioning & heat switches going down the road on drivers side

Hi i have a 05 Gmc with dual climate controls As i'm running the ac in the summer time it automatically switches to the heat just on the drivers side not just in the summer time all the time and i would have to stop and turn the truck off and restart it and it would go back to where i had it. Can any one help

I have the same problem with my '05. I run this re-calibration procedure to correct it,

1) Pull HVAC fuse, wait 5 minutes.
2) Reinstall HVAC fuse, start vehicle, don't touch controls for 2-3 minutes.
3) Turn the ignition off for at least 10 seconds but no more than 30 seconds.
4) Restart the engine and test the a/c controls.
5) If not corrected, repeat step #1.

It will be fine for a few days or months, then it will happen again. I am searching for the reason this happens. HVAC module is beginning to fail??
