Looking for someone who has purchased and installed this make of running board on their vehicle. Would like some feedback on how well it performs in winter months under slushy, salted road conditions? I have a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab.
Thanks,Bill

They work great on keeping most of the salt and road dirt off the paint, but it's unfortunate that they also collect the salt and dirt under the vehicle also and your going to have to pay attention to washing under your vehicle.

I have a 2000 Jimmy with running boards and have more under body corrosion then my 1996. It's like day and night and good chance this summer I'll have the running boards removed when the body is touched up this coming summer.

Good luck and keep us posted.

keep it clean......Car wash once a week with under carriage wash. under tk will look like new for years. People that don't do under washes rust out!

I have Amp Steps on my 2012 2500HD Sierra. So far they have been great in the cold weather. It has been sub zero for most of the winter so far so I can't comment on slush yet, but a buddy of mine has them on his truck and says every now and then they need a "tap" to release them after sitting frozen over night covered in slush.
