Hi all! I'm new here to this site so hoping I'm not bringing up something that has already been talked to death. I've been doing a lot of Google searching and am well aware of the many brake issues people have been experiencing with their GM vehicles. I couldn't find any information on my particular issue so I thought I would try posting here.

2003 GMC 1500-150,000 k's

New Master Cylinder
New Front Rubber Flexable Brake Lines
New Rotors, Pads
New Front Calipers
New Front Left Wheel Speed Sensor
Cleaned up Right Wheel Speed Sensor.

Issue before and after doing the above work.

Jump in truck (cold) start engine and drive away. Brake pedal is soft but brakes work. After driving about 20 k's in traffic stopping and going the brake pedal starts getting less "soft". I continue on driving in traffic conditions and the pedal gets harder and harder until the front brakes are dragging or sticking on. The rotors are now getting hot and you can smell the brakes burning. I park the truck overnight and use it the next day, the same thing happens, pedal starts off soft and gets harder and harder until the brakes are dragging and heating up.

Any suggestions at what I should be looking at next? ABS pump module perhaps???

Thanks!

Insect the slide pins on your calipers, if there frozen and binding. This can cause the issues your describing. Clean and lubricate the pins and sliders and replace the old ones if there worn and damaged.

Start with this simple check and post back.

Thanks for your reply. I replaced my calipers and many other parts as listed in my original post so its not likely the new replacment calipers would cause the same issue.
