Have been looking for one but have noticed several lemon buybacks.

My 2011 Acadia AWD rolls backward on grades when stopped and GM techs said sorry that is how this vehicle works. GM is still gm . I should have known better.

Rack & Pinion has to be replaced, ride is horrible, transmission shifts like it's going crazy and mine idles like a diesel. Yup, GM is still GM....only bought it because we needed the space but wish I had bought Japanese as I always do.

2011 Denali

We bought a 2011 Denali about 2 months ago and I must say that we are pretty impressed. Yeah, it does roll back on hills. But I spent many years driving a standard, so the impact to me is negligible. I was very happy with our choice to defer on the 2011 fully loaded SLT II and wait for the Denali. I feel we got a much better vehicle for the price.

I've had my 2010 Acadia 8 months and the only problem I've experienced is my original battery is dead.

acadia is not as bad as people say. i think its a neat SUV.

Wife had a 2010 SLE and loved it, no issues and she put 15K on it in about 7 months. About 2 weeks ago I bought her a 2011 Acadia Denali and she cant stop talking about how wonderful it is.

Love our Acadia!

We have no complaints after three months with our 2011. In my opinion, they look a bit small from the outside, however it provides all the interior space you could ever need inside! I would recommend the blue tooth option! As for rolling backwards, I figure it has to do with technology and todays fuel economy requirements (plus, its engineered that way). And, mine does not really role backwards except on very steap grades, not to mention, its not a neutral roll, it does have drag. I kinda like the fact that it does not roll forward on idle (level surfaces), I feel that its safer that way.

auto liftgate quit working

Our auto-liftgate quit working with about 48k miles on a 2008 Acadia. Haven't taken it in to fix. Hate having to pay to fix something that I feel should not have broken in the first place.....

Also had to have the interior chome painted black to avoid the horrible sun reflection that can happen depending on the angle of the sun and direction of travel. The dealer didn't paint the chrome around the shifter so we still get occasional strong sun reflections from that.

Love the roominess and the bucket seats in the second row in the Acadia for our 2 yr old twins and 6 yr old.
