auto trans linkage adjustment

Hi there. Newby here.
I just bough a '98 Sonoma. It doesn't go into park all the time unless you shift in/out a couple times. How do you go about adjusting the linkage on the tranny? Thanks

its prob on the end of the linkage at the trans. if it is the style i am thinking of you put the trans in park at the end of the linkage there is a small bolt you loosin the bold just a little bit thenpush the lever up and tighten the screw. might be a 2 man job one to hold the lever up in a firm position and one to loosing and tighthenthe nut
