Back up sensors

My 2012 GMC Sierra park assist is constantly saying that it is blocked when I start up the vehicle. Stays on saying that it is blocked even when I'm driving. The dealer has now had the truck for two days and cant figure out what is wrong with it. Anyone had the same issue???

UPDATE: turns out all wiring harnesses to the sensors need to be replaced along with one sensor......I'm thinking they could just be changing parts to try to solve the problem lol.

[yea thats my truck]

i know that if the tailgates down youll get a message saying park assist is off
i think theres a sensor that detects the tail gate being down and if that is faulty then youll get a blocked signal

My 2012 will not tolerate the trailer hitch in the receiver. It's a real pain to install and remove it ever time I pull a boat or trailer. Others I have asked, including dealer, say "not for me"?
