hi all! new here! Found this forum so hopefully someone out here has a clue! recently bought a 89 jimmy 5.7. someone has been through wiring & quite a few things cut under dash but so far everything seems to work? Has an aftermarket alarm in I'd prefer not to get into! lol My issue is wipers & washer! delays dont work at all, wont stop like supposed to & washers wont turn on at all? pulled off steering wheel & replaced wiper switch along with new lever. no luck so replaced wiper module under dash, still no change? not cheap parts to make no difference but its done! lol bought a repair manual so could try to check wiring but the book only shows the 5 wire plug for wiper switch & shows no module under dash?? mine is a 7 plug? Cant seem to find a book for this anywhere! washer pump will work if jumped? has 2 wires there, both are hot & one dims when trying to use pump. i know hard for anyone to diagnose wiring but if someone even knows where in the world i can find the right diagram would be a huge help!! And btw, i dont have the wiper motor that u find all over you tube where u can remove circuit board, have the module under dash, can attach pics if anyone has any idea at all! Thanks so much!
