Im lookin to run a power cord from the bettery to my AMP to power my sub. How is there a way to even hook it up to these terminals. i have a 2000 Sierra 5.3. i bought at extender but the bolt wont come out of the red plastic for the positive of the battery any ideas?

What kind of battery do you have? My amp is the only thing coming off of the top of mine. Everything else is on the side.

I think you can buy terminal connections for the amp at most auto parts stores. They are flat circular connectors that go under the main connections there

see now, i only have terminals on the side of my battery, no wires are connected to the top like yours

Maybe you need to get a new battery? That wouldn't exactly be cheap but it is a clean fix as you can see. I would think they make splicing boxes or whatever they are called that big. I personally wouldn't want to do that to a main battery cable though.

When you channelise an netmail in belief, it goes into outbox. Then exclusive two things can be finished either it gift go to recipient or it won't go anywhere and block.

look for the part linked below at your local part store. i think its what your lookin for. 1 end bolts your battery cables to the battery and your power wire then connects to the nut side via ring terminal. i used the same setup on my sierra and have had no problems since i installed it in '06

see the problem is how did you get the original bolt out of the red cover for the battery?

push it! you'll see when it starts to come out. theres like a pocket the bolt slips into in the rubber boot. if its cold where your at heat it up with a blow dryer.

one more thing. i dont remember for sure cause its been so long but i think i had to trim the rubber boot so the new bolt would clamp tight against the battery cable.

you could always hook up to the red positive box terminal that splits the positive to the starter and the alternator and then the negative to any part of the body that's not painted
