I've been shopping for an aftermarket exhaust kit on a new Denali to help a bit with fuel economy, give the engine a better ton and perhaps increase HP a few clicks.

I am really impressed with Borla exhaust products just from reading their materials online. Here is one of their systems that they say will fit my truck.

1. Does anyone have any expense with the Borla system, either S-Type (Agressive) or Touring (a bit more mellow) on my specific truck model shown above?

2. Can you recommend any exhaust kits other than Borla that you feel might be superior and give specific reasons why?

I am brand new to the forum and look forward to any expertise you might be able to lend.

I have owned both Borla and Corsa catback exhaust systems on my 1/2 ton Chevy and GMC trucks with the 5.3 liter v8 engines. Both brands are premium exhaust systems and will probably outlast your truck. From my experience, I think fitment is slightly better with the Borla system as they seem to bolt right up to the truck out of the box without complications. I have found that I prefer the sport to the touring mufflers as they are slightly more aggressive in sound and they are still tame enough to be 50 state legal. I have never really noticed a significant increase in horse power with these mufflers, but I have gained roughly a mile a gallon on fuel mileage. Their biggest selling point for me is that they look cool and they sound marvelous! The ones you found would probably make you very happy. Good Luck with whatever choice you make.
