I'm thinking about cracking the torsion bars but don't know if it will mess anything up. I've found a leveling kit but don't know if it's better to crank it up or get a leveling kit. How much would it cost to get a leveling kit installed and where do I get it done.

It all depends on the size tires you want to run, if you want 33s your gonna need leveling keys and longer front shocks, if you want 285s or 32s you can lift your factory keys with the 2 bolts on the torsion bars, you wont need new shocks with those and it will level it pretty good. You can get a good leveling kit that comes with everything for under 100 bucks on eBay.

Thanks

I have 285s on right now and I'm not going to go bigger. I just want it to be level can you make the bolts to tight and do I have to put it on jack to tighten the bolts

You dont have to put the truck on jacks, I've done it both ways it may be easier if you do. You will know when to stop it will get where you will not be able to tighten the bolts any further.

Pretty sure it will need an alignment after you crank the torsion bars...
