I have a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with Bluetooth. I recently purchased a GPS and a wireless backup camera to go with it. My problem is (I believe anyway) that the Bluetooth (or maybe the OnStar) interferes with my wireless camera. The camera works fine if I put my GPS in another vehicle, then start my Sierra and put it in reverse. If I move the GPS back to my truck the GPS has problems pickup up the signal from the camera so it goes on then goes off, then on then off.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? I've been in contact with support from the manufacturer of the GPS and Camera but so far they've been unable to help me. I want to verify that it is actually the Bluetooth causing me the problem, does anyone know which fuse the Bluetooth is on so I can try pulling it to see if that is indeed the problem?
I went through the owners manual and searched the web but so far no luck finding which fuse it is, or if there is a solution to my problem. I tried moving the camera transmitter closer to the front of the truck, and right now it is at the front corner of the box, only about 5' from the GPS and I still have the problem.
Thanks
Eldon
