Brake Lights 1979 Jimmy

I have no brake lights I have tail, and turn signal though. I checked the fuses and replaced both bulbs but still nothing I wanna drive this because I just got it last night but not have brake lights isn't letting me do that any help would be greatly appriciated

Inspect #8 STRIKER, Stop Lamp Switch. Make sure that the switch is working and that there is no damage to the wire leads.
