ok, so the other day i was helping my aunt move, and my friend thought his pack of ciggs was under the tire, so i turned the ignition on, The Engine was not running, i just had the key on start, let him move it forward, then i stepped on the brakes, well after that, the pedal would go almost to the floor before the brakes would apply, so i decided to take off the cap off the brake pump to check the fluid level, and for sum reason my friend stepped on the pedal, anyway, i know there is air in the lines, but the reason i asked this was because after i let him move the truck and i stepped on the pedal, it wouldnt stop going all the way to the floor before the brakes would be applied, so does anybody know what would be wrong here ? and it still hasnt gone away, and yes i checked the fluid level, its full, well except for the air in the lines letting some out, but even after i refilled the fluid, took it around the block, the pedal still would not rise, any ideas on why the pedal will not go back to its original state of applying the brakes ? thanks much

If you have no brake fluid leak in any one of the four wheels or brake lines. Your master cylinder has gone bad and will need to be replaced. You can pick one up ate Auto Zone and they will have the step by step instructions for you to get the job done and loner tools also if you need them.

Good luck and be safe. :D
