Can I drop in a Mark IV motor as a replacement in my 94 GMC Sierra 3500?

I thought I ordered a Gen 5 engine after my 1994 Sierra 3500 engine went out. After looking up the serial numbers on the replacement engine it is a Mark IV and the engine was from a '75 to '87 truck. The engine came complete with heads and intake (also from '85 to '89), so I am just wondering if it will drop in complete or if I need any different electrical/mechanical parts.
