Can I put a 2000 4.3 Vortec 6 cylinder into a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4wd?

If so, what changes or mods will I have to do to insure the fit? I'm being told that all that is needed is the 97's intake and valve covers. possibly the exhaust manifolds,
