i have a 1999 gmc sonoma its droped and i want to bring it back to stock, can i use chevy coil springs and leaf springs.

i was also wondering if i go with a 2 inch lift how will that affect the ride quality.
i am feed up with the ride quality, right now its stiff on the freeway and to soft on streets. can any 1 please help

Yes you can use a Chevy coil spring and Leaf springs, as long as it from a S10 also and not the ZQ8. If your having ride quality, you can control that with the shocks and tire combination. You can raise the ride height, but a stiff shocks and hard tires will still give you the same ride as to how it's now. I have 4wd Jimmy and lower the front by 1.5 inch and 2 in the rear with the Monroe Reflex mono shocks, i found that to give it was more stable and felt a stiffer ride. Turned to the wheel combo and is not running the IROC 16 inch rims with the 245/55-16 tires which took most of the hard ride out but yet gave me the firm feel around corners. Flees like driving around in a Camaro IROC, LOL
