Does anyone have any advice. I have a 2000 GMC Jimmy and it sometimes does this thing where it chugs when I press on the accelerator (typically after it has rained or there has been some type of precipitation). It does this pretty consistently and it usually gets better once I get it up over 25 mph. Any thoughts?

Have your Catalytic converter checked to make sure its not starting to clog up, the other area you may one to try is to clean your MAF sensor.

You can disconnect the MAF and drive it to see if it helps. If it does then it just needs to be cleaned with MAF spray cleaner. Take note that this will cause your check engine light to come one while the MAF is disconnected.

Start with those simple things first and we can go from there.;)
