I am having alot of trouble starting my 2005 gmc envoy denali.
The past several days I have had very strange problems with it.. stalling out during acceleration.. car would then start back up.
stalling during idle... took an hour for it to start back up
after these 2 incidents the car on a daily basis will not start back up after driving it for a few miles.. in the morning it is fine, but after running erronds and having the motor heated up it will not start back up.. it turns over but will not start, until i let it sit from anywhere from an hour up to 5 hours for it to crank up with no problem
(the fuel pump is working but the check engine light comes on when this non starting issue is happening.
I have the fuel filter changed, the air filter, had seafoam put in it. That was yesterday. I ran the heck out of it and no problem it started fine...
today at my kids football game same thing, wont start.. after 4 hours went back and it started.
I took it to auto part store and they hooked up the computer and got several codes. I am going to list them here and if ANYONE could please let me know which ones would be causing the car to have the symptoms that I have described.
Code p1682 auzillary input (dont think this one is related to the problem)
Code p2101 tac motor circut range/throttle control
code90443 idle position
code p0689 power relay cicrut low
code p1516 manufacturer control idle speed
codep2176 tac system idle.
and forgot to write code but it was labled evaporation emissions purge valve.
Can you please try and help me limit it down to the most likely codes/problems that would be making my car start fine and them after driving and shutting off it wont start.
as i said i had all the filters etc changed and paid someone to fix this problem needless to say... money paid.. problem still exist.. a friend of a friend mechanic.. without computer to hook it to.. does this seem to be a problem that i need a master or experienced mechanic with skills on the newer cars and all the computer / electrical issues that they have.
I am hoping it is a low price part.. I am a single mom, limited funds and need my car... any help is appreciated.
