Cold Air Intake Issue

I have a 2020 Sierra 5.3, I installed a K&N cold air intake and now about every 20 miles or so I get a dash notification that my air filter needs to be replaced, I hit the reset but same thing happens after another 20 miles. K&N & GM could not give me a reason why they only recommend hitting the reset which is becoming a pain in the rear. Anyone having similar issues or know how to fix the issue.

i would not like to do this on my own truck, run the truck without the filter to see if that makes a difference
CAI is a complete assembly so this sounds like a hassle
put the stock unit back on and see do you still have this problem

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to give that a try
