Does anyone know where i can get a CV Boot as good as the original equipment? The ones that you get from advanced auto & autozone are a P.O.S. I put one of those on less than 4k miles ago & it is shredded. the are flimsy & not worth a dime! Any help would greatly be appreciated.

In most cases that the golden rule is that when the CV boot is worn out and not torn up from any other thing then just wear and tear. Better to replace the whole CV joint it self.

If your CV joint is still healthy, you can order the OEM boot it self from the dealer parts department or on line http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Hope this helps

I too would likely go for just replacing the entire unit...it's not very many bolts and your that close anyway. Best to check the other side too...once one side goes...
