Like the title says what castings did the '01 come with? Were they all the same through out the model year? Thanks

There two casting numbers for the years 01-04 for the 6.0 ls engines. One is the 317 and the other is 035. One was used for the higher compression ratio set up with a flat top piston and the other with a lower compression with the use of the dome piston.
Your going to have to find out if your have a LM7 or LQ9 engine to determine which heads you have.
