I recently pitched the old rusty steel wheels that came on my truck and replaced them with a set of Michey Thompson Classic 2's, I love the wheels and got the same 15" size that came on the truck originally to avoid fitment problems.... seems I didn't do my homeowork though and the offset on the classic two's are considerably larger than what was on the old wheels. So needless to say they rub on corners pretty bad and I've had to do some extensive cutting and hammering to make them fit best I can.
Anyways, I have grown tired of the noise and the low stance of the truck so I want to put a mild lift on the truck to get the wheels out of the way a tad bit. I want to stay away from the real extensive kits since idk how long ill keep the truck thruthfully. I have been comparing the 2" body lift from performance accessories and the 2 inch suspension lift kit from Rough Country. I've heard pros and cons about both and I'm still undecided. Does anyone have either of these systems installed? Heard anything? Just looking for some more opinions really.

thanks!

I am looking also for a lift kit, my tires(front) rubbing the fender when I am on a dirt road. I heard that rough country is to cheap to have good quality. The shocks last only for a year and then you have to replace the parts again.
Are you looking for the suspension lift kit or for a body lift kit?

I want only 1-2inch more clearance too, but it is very hard to find it.

I guess I've been looking for either depending on what kind of experiences people have had with them. I figured the Rough Country was pretty cheap but as far as the shocks go that would'nt bother me to replace them since i could always get a nicer set of shocks from someplace else. Wish I woulda had the money to buy a ZR-2 haha
