annoying isn't it? I just bought a 2004 Envoy XUV and when I lock the door manually on the driver's side the door starts chiming and will not stop. I try opening and shutting the door thinking it's a loose sensor. Fiddle with the lights. Turn the key to the on position then off. Tried starting the motor. Hit the remote locking buttons both lock and unlock. I have done everything but the chicken dance. Has anybody come across this problem before? I'm imagining it is something electronic in the door but I just got her and I don't want to take her apart yet. In the meantime she is making me crazy!

Hey buddy you might ether have to take it to the manufacturer. Or if you can locate the chime. Or I would just locate their fuses. I'm sure one of those ways would work the best. Sorry if it doesn't help
