Dome light and foot well lights stay on

Hi guys I have a 1997 Jimmy and noticed today that my dome light and foot well lights remained on after starting the truck. Even when I turned the vehicle off the lights still remained on. I removed the bulbs for now so the battery wont drain...The dash dimmer switch is in the down position turned all the way down---I know when you crank it in the up position the dome light will come on--Verified its not in the up position

Could it be a bad door jamb switch??


Any ideas??

Found the problem, it was the door jam switch, the door wasnt making good contact to the switch when closing the door. made some adjustments to the door....Works perfect now. The light goes out when closing the door
