down on power or?

I have a obs 1999 k2500 four door 4x4 with the 5.7 and auto trans. I am pulling a 31 foot camper weighing in at abt 6000#, anyone else out there pulling around the same weight with ease please let me know what mods if any you have done.

when towing have the tranny in Drive NOT overdrive

I have a 2015 2500 with 6L gas motor and I pull around 7000lbs and I can barely tell I am pulling anything.
