Hello all.....New to the site and proud owner of a 2011 sierra crewcab z71 with the 5.3
I love the truck but ive had an ungoing issue with it since i bought it in april 2011. I was hoping you could help
I feel a vibration in the truck when driving at any speed. its not in the steering wheel. its in the drive line somewhere.
ive brought it back to the dealer numerous times. first they balanced the tires......then they changed the ujoints.....then they said it was the tire brand making it vibrate (????????)(stock brigestone AT)They tell me that a micheline LTX tire they tried took the shake away and were basicly teeling me to acept those tires if i dont want the truck to shake(WTF) So i say no and they agree to put a tire of my choice(bfg rugged terrain).......Guess what it still has that vibration.Service tek says hes going to have to call GM and see what to do(im bringing it back tomorrow)
Has anybody experienced this or heard of this or better yet does anyone know what my rights are on this.....I mean i paid this truck cash so i wouldnt have any headaches of payments or repairs and ive driven the truck to the dealer more then i have to work.........
