Dual climate control problem on 06

I have an '06 Extended cab and the driver side will blow cool-cold air when the heater is on. The passenger side does not seem to be affected. Any help is appreciated.

It sounds like your drivers side air vent actuator has gone bad and will need to be replaced. In most case the plastic gears in the actuator gets brittle and break after time and the issues your describing is the result.


Keep us posted and good luck, just a little FYI. The driver's side is the harder side to replace.
