Try to manually turn the motor by hand , Turn key off and take it out of ignition. Put a socket on your crankshaft bolt in the center of your bottom pulley, Use a 1/2 inch drive socket and ratchet. Mine is a 5/8 bolt head. Turn your motor in a clockwise direction looking at it from the front of vehicle. I say to try to turn it over just a little bit, Because if your starter engaged against flywheel but it didnt turn over your starter could be bound up against the fly wheel. turning it over just a little bit will allow the starter to let loose. If you can not get it to turn at all you may have a seized motor. not good.
