Frame damage caused by accident

Frame damage caused by someone pulling out in front of me and now they want to replace the entire frame on my 2021 GMC Elevation. Don’t feel good about it, shouldn’t it be totaled? Appreciate any thoughts.

Totaling a vehicle by insurance has to do with cost of repair vs value of vehicle. Being that is the other drivers fault (my assumption) and it's their insurance I would try arguing against the frame replacement. Given my past experience with insurance companies I wouldn't expect to get very far though. You can also make a claim for diminished value due to the crash, even if it is repaired.
