Have 2019 Sierra SLT with only 28K on it. When I make a hard turn left or right a loud tonk sound comes from the front end. First dealership is claiming retourque is needed along with alignment for $286.

My problem is my truck goes straight as an arrow down road with no pull.

Shouldn't the front end be factory torqued and equipped not to loosen at 28K? Dealership claims all maintenance, therefore, I need to pay $286. Not buying this is maintenance but dealership trying make more money.

Truck is still under 3 year / 36K miles warranty

2WD OR 4WD?
stock suspension, lifted, lowered?
does it do it driving forward and reverse?
only at one speed or when going slow and fast?

does the sound happen as soon as you start to turn? loose wheel bearing but that would happen more in one direction turn more than the other unless both wheels are loose

has it ever had accident then repaired? my Son's S10 hit a curb had bent the frame after repaired 'frame straightened ' new wheel, new wheel bearings, lower A arm
tires wore good drove straight but when you turn hard left to pull into a parking spot you would hear a thud but i never found anything wrong

sold the truck that way and the new buyer heard it too

2wd or 4wd ?
