I need to replace the front drivers side light bulb for my DRL/Turn Signal on my 2005 Savana Cargo Van. It looks like theres a clip that holds the bulb socket in the fixture. There isn't much room for my big fingers to pop the clip and remove the socket for the bulb replacement. I've tried from the top and from under the vehicle. First, is this the correct assumption about the clip? And if so, is there an easy way to do this procedure. I've had the van for 6 months and think it's a GREAT unit! I've always had GM vehicles...

Replaced turn signal bulb today on 2005 Savana 2500

Hello Jim,
If you look down under the hood above the left turn signal you will see a clip holding the fixture to the bezel. Slip a flat screw driver In between the Black plastic front and the metal fender on the side of the Van (not directly behind the lense) push gently on the preseure clip and gently pull the lense cover out from the side. It will pull out on the side and slip out from the center once it clears the clip. Reverse the prosedure once bulb has been replaced carefuly pushing the retainer clip until it clicks. good luck and go easy on the plastice components.
