fuel filter problems..

went to change my fuel filter yesterday, one end of the hard line is bent (from factory) in the most impossible z shape, was wondering if i could hose clamp some rubber hose to connect the new filter, or is the fuel system pressurized too much??? any help is appreiciated

Assuming your truck is fuel injected, yes there is too much pressure to use rubber hose and a hose clamp.

happy, sorry for the lack of info, my bad, got the problem fixed w a few pressure connectors and new tubing...still runs like hammered hell, so theres another problem lurking, but the fuel filter is good!
