I have a 2001 2500HD diesel and just had a problem with an attendant (Oregon) putting filling my tank with gas instead of diesel. I did not start the truck, had it towed to the dealer where they flushed the fuel system and changed the filter. Now the dealer is telling me that the fuel line needs to be replaced to the tune of $720. Has anyone had issues like this? I'm thinking about getting a second opinion because I don't trust the competence of this particular dealer. I was on the 2nd tank of fuel when the truck shifted hard going into 6th gear and then I had no acceleration beyond 65. I know this is a lot to take in but I just don't need to be spending money needlessly.
