I recently acquired a 94 Sonoma base model with the 2.2 and a manual trans. The truck had been sitting for a while (minimum of 6 months) I had to replace the fuel pump, strainer, and filter to get it running. The 2 problems I'm having now are
1. First time I try and start it for the day the fuel pressure seems low (I don't have a gauge to test it) I say this because if I just turn the switch on and try and start it, it won't start but, if I turn the switch on for 10 seconds the turn it on and wait 10 seconds it will start. Could it be something I did wrong putting the fuel pump in that would cause it to "leak" down over night? I've put several fuel pumps in before with no issues so I'm just curious. If that's not it what else could it be?
2. When driving the truck it doesn't want to take full throttle. It will bog down and sputter for a few seconds then pick up and go (sputter and bog go away and rpm's increase like normal) could this just be from sitting and just needs to be driven to go away or do I need to look for something else?
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Well good news, I'm still not driving the truck yet (working on paperwork issue) but, I still start the truck daily and drive it around the block when I have time. The truck seems to have worked out it's starting issue but, still bogs at WOT momentarily with mild backfiring the accelerates and will hold WOT until you let off and get back into WOT. I think that will work out once I am able to start driving it daily though.
