Just replaced the fuel pump through a mechanic. Noticed that the fuel pump module seems to run constantly. Wondering if I should be concerned that it will burn out or is this normal?

I should note that this is happening while the truck is running. Not just when you turn the ignition forward but do not start...

Delphi Fuel Pump
ACTUAL OE PART - GAS ENG - w/o EVAP EMISSIONS SENSOR STAMPED TCU

Thanks for your help!

Trying to understand what your trying to say. The fuel pump will run constant while the engine is running. The unit you have may just be loader then the last one so its more noticeable then the last one or you have a bad ground wire to your sending unit which will also cause your pump to be noisy.

Hope this helps and keep us posted. :D
