I have a 2010 GMC 2500hd 6 litre truck. I had it too the dealer and found error code P0449. They said vent valve circuit checks ok. Internal fault in vent valve. I have checked and seems like it is a dealer item at a cost of $400 can this valve be repaired? also can anyone recommend a good code reader for my truck so I can purchase and the location of where to connect please? Thanks
