i might be getting a 1999 Sierra with a 5.8l v8 in it, it has 110k and needs a fuel pump. My question is: where can I get a new Fuel pump for cheap?
 
rockauto.com and autopartswarehouse.com have shown me a lot of choices as well.
 
I like to get parts from stores you can physically see the part before you purchase it. I've just had bad luck with websites like autpartswarehouse...
 
well I found the cheapest one on rockauto.com!
Oh and I can spell, plus you know what I meant anyway, so get over it!

Good luck and be safe with the fuel pump swap. Just make sure you also replace the wire harness from the sending unit to the frame and make sure the ground wire is reconnected and has a good ground on the frame.

ya i purchased my new tank with a new fuel pump sending unit and straps from rockauto seeing it was much cheaper than anywhere else. after we installed it she wouldnt come on and after spending a little extra time making sure that ground was good and clean she cranked right up and is running great so as molson said make sure you get a good ground cuz that may cause your fuel pump to not come on.
