I really need help now as I think its serious.
Whenever I start my Jimmy (2005 automatic 4x4). As soon as I put it in drive and start moving I hear grinding. Like gears aren't in mesh. Happens in forward and reverse. Just when I start off though. I hit the brakes and come to a stop, hear one bang like now gears are in mesh. Everything is ok after that. Even starting and stopping at lights etc its ok. Just when I start it from being parked.
It's not coming from the tranny. It's from the front axle somewhere. I can feel it in my feet.
Anybody had this? only 100k on the vehicle.
Yes, the front diff fluid is full.
Any of you guys or girls had this?
I would appreciate any advice.
