I found a great 2000 sls & I pick it up on Friday!

One owner, loaded & 95 on the odo! I know the first thing I want to do when I get it home is do a fresh oil change with fully synthetic.

Anything else I should do right away?? I'm looking for anything & everything!

:)" Right away " may be a little harsh , but you might want to -

change air / gas filters

flush radiator

flush tranny ( new filter )

have brakes and serpatine belt checked out.

I just did all that on my " new to me " Jimmy .

I based my choice /decisions on :

the sticker under the hood that reads - change anti-freeze
every 5 years or 100 K ( check hoses too )

My understanding that trannys should be done every 60 K

Only God knew for sure when the oil /gas and air filters were
( if ever ) changed , now we both know. :)

Almost forgot-

How are plugs / wires ?

Check differential oil level

Examine spare tire - if original and full size you might want to find another
as 11 years is old for a tire .

Make sure you have all the parts for changing a tire.

Hit car wash

Get cooler

Fill with beer

Swing by my place

:D
