GMC Acadia , What do you think ?

An American car, not the way to go. If you're looking for an SUV that size, go with a Toyota Land Cruiser, maybe even a Toyota 4Runner or Highlander, there are also Honda Pilots. Any Lexus SUV will do you good as well. All much more reliable.
 
They are nice. It doesn't even complete in the same class as a Toyota Land Cruiser or 4Runner. Those are trucks with a ladder frame. A Highlander and Pilot are similar. They are unibody and are pretty much a big car.

Don't listen to people that say anything Japanese is great and anything American is junk.
