1994 GMC Jimmy S-15 value
Hi, I'm new here, so I hope this is the place to ask this. . .
I just bought a 1994 GMC Jimmy (S-15) SLE 4WD, 4-door, 4.3 Vortex, from family friends. I'd like to make sure I don't have a valuable oldie here before I bolt on a Class III hitch and start driving to work every day.
The original owner was a 'bring it in every 3000m' sort of guy, so it's had lots of parts replaced over the years. Everything runs (and all electric!), trans feels good, all mechanical systems are working well. It's almost immaculate inside and out, with ~89,000 miles. For some reason the auto shop noted (and now the Title notes) an odometer abnormality; I think they got confused by low mileage between visits. I've reviewed the service receipts and driven for a few days and I think the odometer is fine, and that is really does have ~89,000 miles. I'm going to put five new Michelin Defender AT M/S tires on next week.
I'm a Total Cost of Ownership driver, so I'm all about low cost per mile over lifespan. Is this a neat old car I should drive, or a neat old car I should sell?
