I have a 94 Jimmy. It has a new fuel filter on it. It ran fine yesterday. This morning, I went to start it and all it would do was crank. Any ideas on what could have caused this or how to fix it?
LOL it's not out of gas ~ fuel filter was put on a week or so ago and everything was fine until today.

First thing check to see if you have spark, also check fuse and relay for your fuel pump. R u getting fuel to the carb/throttle Body, if so its not a fuel problem. do you have spark, if not check that the rotor under the dist. cap rotates when you turn it over, if its not turning the its a problem with your timing. Is it cranking at normal speed, if its cranking really slow, if slow check that all your pulleys rotate freely take the belt off a turn them by hand or after you remove the belt try starting the engine, Just DON'T let it run if it starts.
