Hello,

I am really torn right now on which dual exhaust I want to get for my new gmc sierra 2011 sle ext cab 5.3L. I have done a good amount of research and still am not sure what I want to buy.

I am looking for a deep throaty sound that is not too loud but loud enough and not too quiet. I am willing to pay up to 600-700 but would be happy to get a nice one for cheaper. Can anyone please help me out?

Thank you

Hi jrb332
I have the dual exhaust that was installed from GM. You can hear a nice rumble but it is not too loud if you are on the highway. It looks nice. I don't know how much it would be as it was already there when i bought the truck.

Hey Rick,

Yea, im looking for an aftermarket dual exhaust. Im thinking about MBRP or Flowmaster. Flowmaster I think sounds pretty good, i just don't think that it is loud enough. MBRP sounds like it has a nice sound.

Does anyone have one of these exhausts or knows about one that has these features that I am searching for?

My GM muffler rusted out and I got a Flowmaster, it has a touch louder rumble and sounds better.

I'm running the flowmaster 40 series on my truck and it sounds great. loud enough to make it be noticed, but it's not too loud when you get up to highway speeds. I'm only running the single out but i know a couple of guys who got the dual and it sounds great.

I'm getting duel mrbp in all black in a week .i'll let you know . got it off ebay for 500$ from never enough auto .sounds good on youtube

Cool,

Please do, because i think im heading towards the mbrp. the flowmaster doesnt seem to have much of a presence to me. I also hope the mbrp doesnt sound like a rice burner either though.

Also,

Boy blue how did u get the all black, I can't find that. I'd like my dual to be matte.

How do any of these aftermarket exhausts sound in V4 mode going down the highway at 70MPH?
