Hello to all
I have a 91 Sierra with a 5.7 v8 that has 95000 miles on it. It has not used any coolant and makes no noise. I recently changed oil and it is a little too full, probably about three quarters of a quart to a quart extra. It has started to puff out smoke from the tail pipe on start up and when u accelerate and let off the gas. There is no noise and it has used some oil in the past. I have had it for almost a year and have not had to put coolant in it. What might be wrong? I don't think it is a head gasket as nothing is leaking, maybe the valve guides? Any help appreciated!
