i own a 2001 GMC Jimmy with a V6 Vortec. I recently saw a Chevy Blazer with dual exhaust that runs out in front of the rear wheels. it also had dual tips on it. what would be good to use such as like flow masters or something else. also, would it sound good?

Sound wise its all about what you like, I love 2 chamber flowmasters, my brother in law hates them saying they are to loud. The only downside I can think of for exiting the exhaust there, if its a 4x4 you would be more likely to hit it on something located right in front of the tires

Keep is simple and try a single cat back exhaust from http://www.magnaflow.com/ , http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/ , or if money is the issue http://www.cherrybomb.com/.

I would not go larger then 2.5 inch pipes and if you have the money, go for the stainless exhaust pipes. There are also more and more exhaust shop now that are custom bending pipes and are even a manufacture sponsored shop so you can get a good deal on there brand muffler. ;)

Good luck and keep us posted. :D

its probably just a split exhaust not a true dual exhaust. Personally I would go get a single exhaust. And there are better mufflers than flowmaster. Unless you want to just have a loud truck which to me is pointless if its loud and not fast.
