...measurements? by me changing my tranny and my driveshaft was destroyed im wondering if someone has had this issue and know the lenth of the shaft i will need,plus if i made the right decision to create a hybrid. if anybody knows what im talking about please help

Should of stayed with the 4L60 (700R4), the 3L80 (TH400) is a good transmission, but so is the 4L60, but the difference is that the 4L60 has a lower first gear and a Overdrive gear for fuel economy out in the highway.

Regardless you have already did the swap, the 3L80 was a option for the 1990 Suburban so you should be able to get the length of the drive shaft at the parts department at the GM dealer.
