Hey guys, i have grinding/clicking sound coming from the left front wheel on my '95 GMC Sierra 4x4. When in 2WD it sounds like something is intermittently grinding while I'm driving, about every 3-5 seconds. And at highway speeds the grinding is more noticeable, bumps also seem to intensify the grinding as well. When in 4WD, the grinding is much louder with a bit of clicking as well. May even be some popping in there as well. Any ideas what could be causing this..?

I would check the CV joints. They start to click and pop before they outright break.
Update: I took my truck to a local garage to have it looked at since I don't have the means of working on it in the sub-zero temps we have. Needless to say, the grinding noise I was hearing was a bad left front wheel bearing. So i had the left front hub replaced and the noise is gone. They said it was so bad that if I would of continued to drive it much longer the way it was that my wheel most likely would of came off.
